Carrots are winter vegetables full of nutrition so I made this special carrots Dish.

Gajrela Ingredients:

Milk 2 liter
Rice 1/4 cup
Grated Carrots 300g
Elaichi Powder 1/2 tsp
Sugar to taste
Almonds and pistachios 1/2 cup
Desi ghee 1tbs ( optional)
Milk powder or khoya 1 cup

Method:
Soak Rice for at least an hour. Heat ghee in a pan, add dry fruit, fry a little then add milk. You can skip this step and start with boiling milk. When milk is heated, add shredded carrots, bring it to boil, add soaked rice, and cook for half an hour. Stir in between. Add sugar and dry milk powder or khoya. I added dry milk. If you skipped the step of ghee, then add dry fruit now and cook till gajrela gets the required consistency. Pour in containers and decorate with pistachios and almonds. You can also add cream.
