Daal Chawal &fried potato Recipe Daal 1/2 kg toor daal boiled 1 onion slice 1 tsp gg paste Lavang dalchini 2 tbsp dhania zeera powder 4 whole blk pepper Mint leave Pinch haldi Kari patta 1 tomato chopped Oil Fry sliced onion.Add everything except daal. Fry a little. Add daal and water. Boil around 20 minutes.it should not be very thick or very thin. Fried Potato 3 sliced big potato 1 tsp garlic paste 3 tbsp dhania zeera powder Chilli paste as you like 2 tbsp oil Salt as taste Mix all. In a little oil fry potato slices in a frying pan. Rice 1/2 kg basmati rice 11/2 tsp salt( as your taste) 1/2 tsp whole zeera Lavang dalchini 2 tbsp oil 1 tbsp fried onion for sprinkling on done rice Wash rice and keep it in the water for half hour. Drain water and add clean water and all above.cook until rice done. ( I cook rice in the rice cooker. Easiest way) Sprinkle fried onion on it.
