Traditional nan Khatai By Wania Aamir

TRADITIONAL NAN KHATAI INGREDIENTS: 2 cup maida 2 tsp Baking powder Ilaichi powder (optional) 1 cup Caster sugar 1 cup Ghee Egg yolk for brushing METHOD: Melt the ghee then put ghee in a freezer For 15 mins .Now beat the ghee ,add sugar in it again beat it until a fluffy mixture .Take another bowl ,add maida , baking powder, ilaichi powder mix it. Mix the both mixture in a bowl .Knead the soft dough . Give it a rest for 1 hr . Make small balls and brush the yolk on balls. Preheat the oven at 180 . Nan khatai will bake in 20 to 25 mins.
